How did PP&D start?
I started hanging posters in exchange for tickets in 1981. Visit our “History” page for more thrilling details.
Can you tell me exactly where my posters will be placed?
We cannot guarantee the exact location of your posters. Unfortunately, an establishment’s owner or manager makes the final decision. We do not provide our lists. We can’t even imagine the chaos that would be cause if gotten into the wrong hands.
Can you tell me when our posters will be delivered?
In the Greater Burlington Area all posters will be delivered within five working days of when received. Downtown is generally done on Mondays or Tuesdays, other routes towards the end of the week. Every weeks schedule is different. We can advise you of our calendar, but it often changes. Out of town routes are usually planned two weeks ahead, but we can be flexible to meet your needs.
What is the best size for a poster?
Big ones are great if there is a lot of room available. Small ones are great to squeeze in when there are busy boards. Ideally, two sizes (8 ½” x 11” and 11” x 17”) would be best. We do not accept posters larger then 12” x 18”.
What happens to the posters after our event?
We take them down to make room for new ones. All old poster and brochures are recycled.
How many posters do I need?
Please visit (on our website) “Poster Distribution” in the bottom half of the page.
How many brochures do I need?
Please visit (on our website) “Quantities Needed” under “Brochure Distribution”
Do you recommend any printers?
Sure, I’d be happy to advise you on printers that have worked successfully with PP&D.
Where is your warehouse and office?
We are at 377 Pine Street in Burlington, Vermont. For more information please visit (on our website) “Warehouse Directions”.
Are you sold out in any regions?
Yes, sometimes we are sold out in Burlington, and Stowe in the summertime.
Is there a waiting list?
We try to keep track of who may be interested, but it is best to call back every few months.
Can you guarantee my brochure will go into all your racks?
No, often hotels with restaurants won’t take brochures from other restaurants, some lodges in ski resorts won’t take brochures from competitive mountains, and if a manager’s brother has his own pig farm he may not allow other pig farm brochures.
If I have a PP&D rack at my place do I get free distribution?
Sounds like a good plan for you, but since we have racks at a majority of our customer’s locations, it would really kill my bottom line. We do offer a 5% discount.
