How many brochures do I
need?
How I wish there was a simple answer to that question. Wouldn't
it be nice if you could take your address number multiply by years
in business and divide by amount of employees.
Unfortunately those aren't the factors that you need to consider.
More important are requested regions, thickness of your piece, popularity
of your business, attractiveness of your brochure and if the staff
where the rack is located is promoting your brochure.
Initial
Delivery:
We can give you arough idea of quantity needed for an initial delivery
to all our racks and public racks where your NEW
brochure will be placed:
The first number is for rack cards, the second 6 - 8 panel brochures,
third 16 - 20 panel brochures, and lastly for really thick 28 panel
brochures (a panel is each side of the paper - an 8 1/2" x
11" brochure folded in thirds is six panels). These estimates
can vary due to paper weight / thickness.

Resupply Numbers:
Estimating how many we will need to resupply is an even greater
challenge. Obviously State Maps, Trail Maps, Ben & Jerry's
and Ferry brochures will be picked up faster then one from a gift
shop or restarant. But remember it's often the quality of the
visitor not the quantity!
My educated calculation estimates (for a six month period):
Larger well known attraction's with colorful brochures should
probably multiply that number by three.
The smaller shops and specialized attractions should multiply
that number by 1.5 or possibly double the number.
If you are a year round attraction try adding multiplying by 1.5
again
Limited month / busy season brochures (snowmobile or boat rentals)
will go through many more brochures in their peak months.
